Summer... How sweet you were to me!

As summer comes to an end, I think about everything that happened this year. The year I became busy and dedicated myself to my work... It paid off.

My schedule: [Monday] 5-10pm, getting home at 12am; [Tuesday & Wednesday] 9:30am- 10pm; getting home at 12am; [Thursday] 5-10pm, getting home at 12am. [Friday- Sunday] OFF.

And it may not sound like a lot.... But it takes a toll on your body. Believe me.

I held an internship at Factor Women Model Management, and for those who don't know-- it was formerly Elite Model Management (Chicago & ATL segment). Same president-- Jane Stewart- Laidlaw. She's quite the business woman and knows how to run her establishment.

Some of the more talented people I know occupy the jobs of booking agents.. [Women's Division] Stephen Hall, Richie Keo, Sandra Weetom; [New Gen] Alyssa Dilts; [Marketing/PR] Kasia Koniar; [Artists by Timothy Priano] Nancy Good & Breanne Failor; [Special Projects] Kiley Taslitz; [Runway] Bridget Halanski; [Chosen- Men's Division] David Love & David Sanchez; [Stewart Kids] Jenn Hall; [Graphic Design] Michelle Tucker; [Accounting] Laura, Whitney, Lauren; [Reception] Lisa Haley.

For the past three months, they have become my family. I love them to death and thank them for the opportunity to work with them. It's been great, and I only know that they'll be in my near future :)

My last day in the office was last Tuesday, in which the surprised me after my Starbucks run with an AMAZING cake and some champagne. Now whose office can you drink in while working? Ours, of course :)

I worked Wednesday on the runway video shoot for the agency with Kasia.. She's such a sweetheart. She used to model for the agency.. Polish & tall & beautiful! I love her!

While on set the week before (on Wednesday), I received an email from Elise Schmitt [Marketing/PR] from ALARM press, which is a publication about music and art. Emerging artists who are trying to get their name out there. An amazing publication and one I aspire to work with. I applied for the internship with them on Tuesday late at night. Received an email for an interview on Wednesday morning. And we set up the interview for the following Thursday.

This past Thursday, I had the interview & Elise was excited to add me to the ALARM team! I'm happy that I received it and I feel more blessed than anything! I start on Thursday, September 16th.

FNO: As we all know, Fashion's Night Out is September 10th! Fashion everywhere.. New York, LA, and where I'm from.. Chicago :)

Yes I'm celebrating.. Starting my night off with working backstage at Neiman Marcus for a fashion show (St. John) from 6:30- 7:30. Then off to Nordstrom to get my makeup done at Chanel at 8pm.

I have nothing else planned.. September 17th- 20th, I will be out in Union Peer, Michigan for the weekend. Then the following weekend, September 24th- 26th, I will be in Atlanta for the weekend.
