Say Hello to Yours Truly Becoming a Fashion Intern!!

Hey everyone!!

So, great news.. if you haven't read the title to this post already!

I'm the newest Marketing Intern for Chicago Designer, Audey! Check her out and anticipate the Fall 2010 collection- Take it from me, the fabrics are AMAZING!

She's suuuch a wonderful designer, full of life and ideas!

So, I thought I would just apply to see if I would hear from someone, and voila! The next day or 2 days after I applied, I received an email from Jess to schedule an interview.

I showed up for the interview this past Thursday, the 4th at Macy's on State Street and was so amazed that I was in the presence of this designer (She was part of the Macy's Incubator program).

She was continually talking to me as though I had already got the position, so I was a little confused, but low and behold.... She said "it's totally up to you, if you need a couple of days to decide if you want the internship, that's fine with me." And my heart dropped into my stomach. I wanted to hug her, but I felt that would be inappropriate. Haha.

You guys have no idea how ecstatic I am! I start this Thursday! :)

Other than my good news for my internship, I've been in class for about 2 weeks and things have been going great. I love my classes and my teachers are amazing.

I now have an assistant, she's actually my best friend since high school. She's great! :) Her name is Jillian!
