I was busy planning events, co- producing fashion shows, and so on..
Here's an update on my LIFE as of lately:
I was asked to be a fashion show assistant producer for the Sidewalk Sale in Daley Plaza in Chicago, for Fashion Focus. It was such a breakthrough for me, because it was the first time I was actually working WITH the Chicago Office of Tourism. The models were so great! The first day, we used ELITE modeling and the girls were so precious! The second day were FORD models. All the volunteer dressers were great and they worked patiently with me! I have Jennifer Tuite and Melissa Gamble to thank for all the opportunities that I've been given working in this industry!
The designers used for the show were so talented. I look up to the people who actually used their talents to get somewhere in life. Please support Chicago up and coming fashion designers, I know that all of them have spent time and money to make their dreams come true. I praise all of them for this!
- Secondly, I got this fabulous idea to hold a benefit event. My grandfather was my best friend growing up. Unfortunately, he passed away when I was 10 years old. It was probably the hardest thing for me to overcome.. And I'm still devastated. However, I wanted to host this event to raise funding for ANEURYSM RESEARCH (please look this up, it's not as huge as Cancer or heart disease, but it's very important). I've set up everything and have made plans to host this in March 2010, but the event will cost me upwards of $15,000! I don't have the kind of money at age 19, I promise I wish that I did.
Does someone have ideas?
Anyway, life and summer has been good to me. Although I haven't really seen anyone or gone out, I've spent this summer working everyday and finding myself. I've come to ease with my relationship. I love my life.. And though I've lost contact with some of the most important people in my life, life goes on.. And I thank God everyday that he's given me a chance to follow what I love and be happy with the results.

Hey BEEF!! Just wanted to say that you should search for people who have lost their loved ones to the same illness and maybe if they have the money they would be willing to sponsor or co-sponsor your benefit. You could like put search online, as well as, craigslist and stuff and just see what you find.
